saturday morning was the annual boyne thunder poker run fundraiser for camp quality in boyne city, mi. i hitched a ride with a friend on a formula 400 ss to take pictures of the event. the south pier was loaded with spectators out to watch the speed boats race away into lake michigan! my dad and sister rode with the knoblock’s in their fountain 47 lightning, but i didn’t see them on the water… it was a windblown-hair kind of day!
